Flexion-Distraction in Magna UT

The goal of flexion distraction is to increase spinal motion and improve overall function. We utilize the table to gently flex your spine in various directions, and if your health needs require it, we pair manual techniques to help get a bulging or herniated disc back in place. Flexion Distraction is a gentle, safe, controlled form of traction specifically designed for spinal pain relief.

Intersegmental Traction

The roller table helps by creating motion which can stretch the spinal joints and improve movement. It does this by mobilizing the spinal column while simultaneously stretching the muscles and ligaments. The patient lies face up on the table while the rollers beneath the surface gently move up and down the spine.

Whole body vibration

With whole-body vibration, you stand, sit or lie on a machine with a vibrating platform. As the machine vibrates, it transmits energy to your body, forcing your muscles to contract and relax dozens of times each second. Benefits include greater flexibility, decreased muscle soreness, reduced back pain, reduced bone loss, improved strength, faster weight loss, improved balance, and boosted immunity.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release can:

  • Improve range of motion
  • Reduce soreness
  • Increase your body's natural recovery process
  • Help with overall relaxation
  • Improve circulation
  • Relieve stress
